Our Mission

Our Grandparents Stories is a not-for-profit video library created to:

  • preserve and catalog memories of the 1930’s, 1940’s and 1950’s,
  • provide younger generations with a platform to learn about history through first-hand accounts, from a variety of perspectives, and to
  • promote intergenerational conversations..

Help Build the Library!

Seniors & Grandparents:  Share your memories of the 1930's, 1940's and 1950's and help younger generations learn about history through your stories.

Parents: Promote discovery through intergenerational learning by having your children interview and record  grandparents and seniors sharing their memories.

Teachers: Enrich your curriculum through service learning by having students interview and record grandparents and seniors sharing their memories.

Students:  Learn about history while preserving history by interviewing and recording grandparents and seniors sharing their memories.
